THE WHITE LODGE @ BASE CAMP STUDIOS

At Base Camp Studios in Belltown in Seattle, I was awarded a residency for 3 months where I was able to create anything I wanted. It began as music and paintings after not having a space to create for quite some time but then became “The White Lodge” a place one enters only upon love. A living arts lounge — part gallery, part talk show, part community gathering place — designed to become one of Seattle's most vibrant and welcoming cultural spaces. Think Johnny Carson meets Tiny Desk meets the Seinfeld Coffee Shop set in the heart of Pioneer Square. The concept is simple but powerful: a warm, spontaneous, beautifully curated room where visitors encounter original art, live performances, spoken word, music, and kismet circumstances and conversations — all happening at once, all freely accessible. Coffee. Comfort. Creativity. This is not a conventional gallery. It is a living room for the city, that place where local and visiting artists can sit in and perform constantly, where strangers become collaborators, and where every visit is a different but beautiful experience.
